Suzy Glucksman
Biography
Ms. Glucksman has more than 25 years of legislative, consulting and political experience.
Ms. Glucksman, Senior Advisor at Dotchin & Associates, has successfully advised corporate CEOs, university and college presidents, municipalities, trade associations, and leaders of nonprofit entities on a broad scope of political, policy and funding issues.
Founder & CEO of Nexa Strategies, Ms. Glucksman began her involvement in politics working on Capitol Hill, then later as a government affairs specialist advising clients on important policy matters. She understands how to successfully navigate a broad range of legislative and regulatory issues, and helps clients shape decisions to advance their political, regulatory and policy goals to achieve long-term positive outcomes.
Prior to founding Nexa Strategies, Ms. Glucksman was most recently Vice President at an international consulting firm specializing in global public policy, government relations, and corporate social responsibility. As a member of the firm’s senior leadership team, Ms. Glucksman represented Fortune 500 companies on Capitol Hill, at the White House, and with federal agencies to build support for legislation and federal policies to advance each client’s goals.
On Capitol Hill, Ms. Glucksman worked for Senator John F. Kerry on foreign policy and trade issues. In the office of Congressman Joseph P. Kennedy II, Ms. Glucksman was responsible for all policy and external engagements for the Congressman related to foreign policy, trade, and international development.
Ms. Glucksman holds an MA in Economics and Public Policy from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies(SAIS). A native Washingtonian, she did her undergraduate work at Smith College and Harvard University.
